Latest news:
- July 1, 2009: All Supra wings I build in the future will have center dihedral by
default and be built with a cap-tube-cap spar. Skins will be Kevlar with
uni-carbon reinforcements at the middle of the center panel. These wings will
have superior strength with minimal weight penalty. I will continue to build
flat center sections and stressed skin as special orders.S
- June 13, 2009: Version 1.0.5.102 of FoamCutter is now available. This version
had a large number of enhancements. Documentation is out of date.
- May 26, 2009: I am now able to cut channels for spar caps in custom cores.
- May 13, 2009: I now provide two more options for my Supra wings:
- Center panel with 5 degree dihedral and tip dihedral of 5 degrees. Same price. I
will still offer the flat center panel.
- A tapered cap 0.37" wide 0.087" thick at the center and 0.035" at the joiners,
placed above the tube "spar". This adds a lot of strength with minimal weight
penalty. The price of the spar cap option is an extra $50. This option makes the
bagged Supra wings 2 man towable for F3J.
- April 23, 2009: A joint project with Northeast Aerodynamics for a Cross Country
ship using Mark Drela airfoils and a larger chord than the XCBD, the Ascendant,
is gathering steam. More news available soon!
- April 23, 2009: All quotes and PayPal orders do not include shipping. Shipping
will be charged at actual cost and is payable when the order is ready to ship.
- March 23, 2009: Wings, tail feathers and cores for the XCBD are now available. A
wing set has an introductory price of $ 650 and a set of tail feathers are $
175.
